Interactive Controls for Fast Setup: Blackmagic Camera provides all the controls you need for quick setup and shooting. Everything is interactive, allowing you to tap any item and instantly adjust settings without navigating through complicated menus. The heads-up display (HUD) conveniently shows status and record parameters, histogram, focus peaking indicators, levels, frame guides, and more. You can easily toggle the HUD on or off with a simple swipe up or down. Auto focus is as simple as tapping the screen on the desired area. It supports both 16:9 or vertical aspect ratios, and you can shoot in a 16:9 format while holding your phone vertically for discreet shooting.

On-Screen Heads Up Display: The heads-up display (HUD) controls provide easy access to important camera settings, such as lens selection, frame rate, shutter angle, timecode, ISO, white balance, gain, and audio levels. You can adjust exposure by tapping the ISO indicator or change audio levels by simply touching the audio meters. All controls are interactive, allowing you to change settings instantly without navigating complex menus.

Camera Setup Menus: The settings tab unleashes the full potential of your phone's camera with quick access to advanced options including monitoring, audio, camera setup, and recording settings. The record tab grants you total control over video resolution and recording format, including industry-standard Apple ProRes or space-efficient H.264 and H.265 codecs. Anamorphic de-squeeze and lens correction settings are also available. Additional professional audio options include AAC and PCM formats with VU or PPM audio metering. External microphones can be easily connected. Furthermore, you can enhance your footage by adding 3D LUTs to recreate the aesthetic of film.

Media: The Blackmagic Camera's media tab provides all the necessary controls for browsing, scrubbing, quick review, search and sort of clips, as well as viewing the upload status of your media. By accessing the all clips folder in Blackmagic Camera's media section, you can see thumbnails for each stored clip. Moreover, you can save clips to the files folder on your phone, send them to Blackmagic Cloud Storage using Blackmagic Cloud, or selectively choose clips to upload to a project library. Syncing media directly from Blackmagic Camera into your DaVinci Resolve project is also supported, ensuring you're ready to edit right away.

Live Sync to Blackmagic Cloud Storage: When shooting with Blackmagic Camera, the captured video can be instantly uploaded as a proxy file, followed by the camera originals, and saved to Blackmagic Cloud Storage. This allows you to start editing quickly using proxies, thereby speeding up your workflow.
